The US Open 2026 announced a record USD 108 million prize-money pool, roughly ₹1,000 crore, making it the largest prize purse ever offered at a tennis tournament.
The increase comes amid growing demands from players for a larger share of tournament revenues. At earlier Grand Slam events, leading players such as Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka had reduced their media commitments while pushing for improved player compensation.
Major Prize-Money Increases
The increase will benefit players across virtually every stage of the tournament.
