HDFC Bank, in partnership with Indian Air Force (IAF) and CSC Academy, has launched Project HAKK (Hawai Anubhavi Kalyan Kendra) to provide financial assistance, pension-related services, and skill development to IAF pensioners, veterans, and their families.
Key Highlights of the MoU
Tripartite Agreement: Signed between HDFC Bank, Indian Air Force, and CSC Academy.
25 Centres Proposed: These will be set up across IAF units in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Pune, Secunderabad, Guwahati, Jodhpur, Chandigarh, and more.
Economic Inclusiveness Initiative:
- HDFC Bank’s Parivartan Programme aims to train veterans and NOKs (Next of Kin) for financial independence.
- CSC Academy will provide skill development training in financial services and digital banking.
Financial Assistance for Service Centre Operators:
- Individuals managing the centres will receive a monthly grant from HDFC Bank for one year.
About Project HAKK (Hawai Anubhavi Kalyan Kendra)
Objective: Dedicated to IAF pensioners, ex-servicemen, and their families, ensuring financial stability and empowerment.
Services Offered:
- Pension-related support, helping retirees and NOKs manage their benefits.
- 500+ Government-to-Citizen (G2C) & Business-to-Consumer (B2C) services, including Aadhaar, PAN, passport, bill payments, and NPS (National Pension System).
- Access to HDFC Bank’s financial products and digital banking services for ease of transactions.
Implementation Plan:
- 25 initial service centres to be operational across major Air Force bases.
- Trained operators (veterans/NOKs) will manage these centres to offer seamless services.
Project HAKK follows success of Project NAMAN, which was launched earlier to support Indian Army veterans. By streamlining financial services and support mechanisms, this initiative ensures that Air Force retirees and their families receive hassle-free assistance in pension-related and financial matters.
