AM Green (India), promoted by the founders of Greenko Group, has signed a strategic MoU with the Port of Rotterdam Authority (Netherlands) to establish a Green Fuel Corridor between India and Northwestern Europe.
The alliance aims to enable annual green fuel trade of up to 1 million tonnes, valued at approximately $1 billion, to support India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and Europe’s climate neutrality goals.
Key Highlights
Scope of Green Fuel Corridor
- Trade Focus: Green Ammonia and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Green ammonia and SAF are critical fuels in the global transition to net-zero.
- Annual Volume: 1 million tonnes
- Target Value: $1 billion per year
- Strategic Aim: Create a robust India-Europe green energy supply chain
MoU Details & Strategic Goals
