VB-G RAM G Youth Digital Campaign Launched

The Ministry of Rural Development, in collaboration with MY Bharat recently launched a nationwide digital campaign titled “VB-G RAM G Youth Digital Campaign.” The campaign aims to create widespread awareness about Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rural Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) Act, 2025, popularly referred to as VB-G RAM G Act, 2025.

Theme of Campaign: “Viksit Bharat-G Ram G – Youth Power, Progress of Panchayats.”

About Campaign

It seeks to:

  • Promote awareness about the VB-G RAM G Act, 2025.
  • Encourage youth participation in rural development initiatives.
  • Build a nationwide digital movement centred on grassroots governance and Panchayat development.

Guided by the theme, the campaign aims to:

  • Harness the energy, creativity and ideas of young citizens.
  • Encourage youth involvement in community-led development initiatives.
  • Strengthen governance and service delivery at the Panchayat level.

The initiative aligns with the broader national vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

About VB-G RAM G Act, 2025

The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rural Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) Act, 2025 represents a major transformation in India’s rural employment policy.

Key Objectives

  • Promote inclusive and sustainable rural development.
  • Ensure convergence of welfare schemes.
  • Achieve saturation of public services in rural areas.
  • Strengthen livelihood opportunities and rural employment.

Key Provision

  • The Act increases the statutory guarantee of wage employment for rural families from 100 days to 125 days per financial year.
