NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL) and Government of Maharashtra signed an MoU to digitise Maharashtra’s logistics landscape by leveraging the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP). The MoU was signed during an interactive ULIP workshop organised by the Directorate of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, with participation from representatives of over 10 state departments.
Key Objectives
- The collaboration aims to bring visibility and streamline logistics operations, foster greater coordination among state departments, and support decision-making through real-time data insights, particularly benefiting MSMEs and small exporters.
- NLDSL will support Maharashtra in developing a unified digital platform for greater transparency in the state’s logistics operations.
Digital Initiatives Demonstrated at Workshop
- Live demonstrations were held of NLDSL’s key platforms, all powered by ULIP: including Logistics Data Bank (LDB), Koyla Shakti (Smart Coal Analytics Dashboard), Track Your Transport, and Transport Management System (TMS).
About ULIP (Unified Logistics Interface Platform)
- ULIP serves as a unified digital gateway enabling seamless access to logistics data from multiple government systems through API-based integration.
- Key statistics include connectivity with 45 systems across 11 Central Ministries/Departments through 137 APIs, spanning over 2,000 data fields. The ecosystem has powered 240+ innovative applications and driven over 300 crore API transactions.
NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited
- NLDSL is the logistics arm of NICDC (National Industrial Corridor Development Programme), established on 30th December 2015 as a joint venture between NICDC Industrial Development Trust (NICDIT) and NEC Corporation of Japan.
- NICDC is spearheading India’s industrial transformation through smart industrial cities.
- Following the success of 20 Greenfield Industrial Smart Cities, NICDC has been mandated to implement the BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) Scheme– envisaging 100 investment-ready, plug-and-play industrial parks across the country with an outlay of ₹33,660 crore.
- NICDC also implements PM MITRA Mega Textile Parks and the India Industrial Land Bank (IILB).
