National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation

National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) recorded its highest-ever financial performance in FY 2025–26, disbursing ₹613 crore and benefiting 61,621 beneficiaries, reflecting an approximate 16% increase over FY 2024–25. As per Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the corporation achieved 100% geographical coverage and around 99% utilization of funds, demonstrating strong last-mile delivery of welfare schemes. 

NBCFDC also fully utilized allocations under key initiatives such as VISVAS Interest Subvention Scheme, National Fellowship for OBCs, and PM-DAKSH Yojana, reinforcing its role in empowering backward and marginalized communities through financial inclusion and skill development.

The National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation is a Government of India undertaking functioning as a not-for-profit entity under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
