India’s Haj Mission achieved a historic milestone by winning two prestigious Labbaytum Awards at Khitamahu Misk ceremony (marks end of Haj season) in Saudi Arabia. This marks the first time India has received these honours, recognising excellence in managing and facilitating the Haj pilgrimage.
The awards were conferred under the “Best Haj Coordination and Communication” category, highlighting India’s strong performance in ensuring smooth, efficient, and pilgrim-centric services.
