India Joins Anthropic’s Project Glasswing Initiative

India has joined a select group of countries granted access to Claude Mythos Preview, an advanced cybersecurity-focused AI model developed by Anthropic under its Project Glasswing initiative.

The expansion includes ~150 organisations across 15 countries, focusing on critical infrastructure providers whose disruption could impact millions of people. Countries involved include India, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, among others.

About Claude Mythos AI Model

  • Purpose: Detect and patch cybersecurity vulnerabilities
  • Designed as a highly advanced AI system with powerful coding and security capabilities
  • Considered too powerful for unrestricted public release due to potential misuse

  • Identifies system weaknesses before attackers exploit them

  • Focuses on securing essential services and infrastructure
