The 19th Governor’s Taekwondo Cup 2026 was inaugurated by Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh at the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium, Imphal. Organised by the All-Manipur Taekwondo Association, the championship runs till 15 July 2026 and has brought together 1,141 athletes from 29 units, including 691 men and 450 women. The event reflects Manipur’s strong sporting culture and its growing contribution to taekwondo at both national and international levels.
