Amalsad Chikoo, a variety of sapodilla cultivated in Gujarat’s Navsari district, has officially been granted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag. It has become 28th GI-tagged product from Gujarat. This recognition affirms its unique taste, superior texture, and deep-rooted regional heritage.
