Focus Areas and Learning Sources

Sanskaar Shaala draws inspiration from ancient Indian knowledge systems and texts, including:

  • Vedas
  • Upanishads
  • Ramayana and Mahabharata
  • Bhagavad Gita

Through age-appropriate activities and teachings, children are introduced to core values such as:

  • Truth (Satya)
  • Duty (Dharma)
  • Compassion (Karuna)
  • Righteous conduct and self-discipline

Why Sanskaar Shaala Matters

  • Addresses concerns about ethical erosion and social disconnect among younger generations
  • Reinforces value education, which is often under-emphasised in formal curricula
  • Supports holistic development—intellectual, moral, emotional, and social
  • Helps nurture responsible citizens aligned with India’s cultural ethos

Value-Based Education in India

  • Value education focuses on developing character, ethics, empathy, and civic sense alongside academic knowledge.
  • It aligns with principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasises:
    • Holistic development
    • Indian knowledge systems
    • Ethics, constitutional values, and responsible citizenship
  • Such initiatives aim to balance modern education with cultural rootedness.
