Bandhan Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Air Force (IAF) to provide its specially designed Shaurya Salary Account, a Corporate Salary Account exclusively tailored for defence personnel. This collaboration enhances financial inclusion and banking services for IAF personnel while reinforcing Bandhan Bank’s growing footprint in defence banking.

Specialized Salary Account:
The Shaurya Salary Account is designed exclusively for IAF personnel, offering a range of benefits including:
- Zero Balance Savings Account
- Comprehensive protection for self and family
- Attractive interest rates
These benefits are available through over 1,700 Bandhan Bank branches.
Enhanced Banking Authority:
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed Bandhan Bank as an Agency Bank.
Bandhan Bank is also authorized by the Central Boards of Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes for:
- Tax collections
- Disbursement of Central Civil Pension and Railway Pensions
SPARSH Service Centre Collaboration:
In addition to Shaurya Salary Account, Bandhan Bank is a designated SPARSH Service Centre for Defence personnel.
In partnership with Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), bank has established SPARSH Service Centres at 557 designated branches to provide specialized services to Defence pensioners and their families.
