Chhattisgarh Unveils India’s First AI-Based Data Centre Park

The Chhattisgarh government has laid the foundation for India’s first AI-based Data Centre Park in Nava Raipur, the new capital city. This project is designed to follow green and energy-efficient technologies with a strong focus on environmental protection.

Location:

  • 14 acres (5.5 hectares) in Nava Raipur
  • Operator: RackBank Datacenters Pvt. Ltd.

Special Economic Zone (SEZ):

  • 2.7 hectares within the park dedicated exclusively to AI-based services
  • First-of-its-kind initiative in India

Capacity & Investment:

  • Phase 1: 5 megawatts
  • Future expansion: up to 150 megawatts
  • Additional projected investment: ₹2,000 crore

Employment Generation:

  • 500 direct jobs
  • 1,500 indirect jobs
  • Priority to local residents

  • GPU-based high-end computing infrastructure
  • AI processing, data analytics, live data streaming
  • AI services for sectors like: Fintech, Healthtech, Defence, and Agriculture (smart farming, weather forecasting, crop management)
