Anahat Singh’s Victory in Women’s Category
- Anahat Singh, India’s No.1 women’s squash player, defeated Helen Tang (Hong Kong, China) in final with a 3-0 scoreline (11-9, 11-5, 11-8).
- This win marked Anahat’s 11th career title and earned her 300 PSA ranking points.
- The 17-year-old has been in exceptional form, having recently won SRFI Indian Tour PSA Challenger tournament in Chennai and bronze medals in women’s team and mixed doubles at Asian Games 2023.
- Anahat Singh, who had an impressive 2024 with nine PSA Challenger titles, also won the British Junior Open U-17 in January 2025 and was part of India’s bronze-winning squad at the Asian Junior Team Championships.
Kareem El Torkey Wins Men’s Title
- In the men’s final, Egypt’s Kareem El Torkey defeated India’s Abhay Singh 3-1 (12-10, 11-4, 7-11, 12-10) in a tightly contested match.
- Kareem’s win secured him 500 PSA ranking points.
