MoSPI Unveils New Mascot and Logo- “सांख्यिकी” (Sankhyiki)

Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) unveiled new logo and mascot named “सांख्यिकी (Sankhyiki)” to modernise its institutional identity, strengthen public outreach, and promote data-driven governance and transparency. The initiative reinforces the role of official statistics in policy formulation and nation-building.

Objectives of New Identity

  • Promote the theme “Data for Development”.
  • Make statistics accessible, relatable, and trustworthy.
  • Encourage greater public participation in surveys.
  • Improve transparency, accuracy, and credibility of India’s statistical ecosystem.
  • Strengthen evidence-based policymaking and citizen trust in official data.
