The day marks a tribute to India’s achievements in science and technology and is celebrated with national-level events led by Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

National Technology Day commemorates three landmark events on 11th May 1998, underlining India’s emergence as a tech and defence power:
