Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)

The 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from Guwahati, Assam, benefiting over 9.32 crore farmers. Under the scheme, a financial benefit of ₹6,000 per year is transferred in three equal instalments, into the Aadhaar seeded bank accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. Government has disbursed over ₹ 4.27 lakh crore in 22 installments since its inception.

Former/present constitutional post holders.

Serving/retired officers and employees of central/state government Ministries, offices, departments, or PSU/Autonomous Institutions (excluding Multi-Tasking Staff/Class IV/Group D).
Pensioners receiving a monthly pension of ₹10,000 or more.
Individuals who paid Income Tax in the last assessment year.
Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects.
Mandatory eKYCCompleting eKYC is required to receive benefits. It is done via OTP on the PM-KISAN Portal or through biometric authentication at the nearest Common Services Centres (CSC)
