Pravaig’s VEER: India’s First EV for Defence Operations

Pravaig Dynamics, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup, has unveiled “VEER”– India’s first electric vehicle (EV) designed for defence operations. This marks a major milestone under the “Make in India” initiative, representing the world’s first operational electric all-terrain vehicle (E-TATV) to undergo military trials with the Indian Army.

The VEER combines stealth technology, military-grade engineering, and advanced EV systems, aligning with India’s broader goals of defence self-reliance and green mobility.

About VEER

  • Type: Electric Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle (E-TATV)
  • Developer: Pravaig Dynamics, Bengaluru
  • Testing: Successfully completed Indian Army trials in March 2025 across Himalayan passes and Rajasthan deserts
  • Recognition: Awarded iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence) Award, Ministry of Defence, 2025
