Teghbir Singh, a 6-year-old from Ropar, Punjab, has become the youngest mountaineer in the world to summit Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe. He achieved this feat at the age of 6 years, 9 months, and 4 days, breaking the previous record held by Wagah Kushagra (aged 7 years 3 months).
Who is Teghbir Singh?
- Teghbir began his expedition with his father, Mr. Sukhinderdeep Singh.
- He was awarded a certificate by the Mountaineering, Rock Climbing and Sports Tourism Federation of Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (Russia), recognising his world record.
