World Art Day 2025: 15th April

World Art Day is observed every year on 15 April to celebrate and promote importance of art, creativity, and cultural expression in our lives. It also honors legacy of Leonardo da Vinci, whose birthday coincides with the observance.

  • First Conceptualized: 2012, during the General Assembly of the International Association of Art (IAA) in Guadalajara, Mexico

  • Leonardo da Vinci’s Influence: Regarded as a symbol of universal creative genius — renowned works include Mona Lisa and The Last Supper
