The Ministry of Education has launched the online registration portal for Yuva Sangam – Phase VI under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative.
Yuva Sangam is a flagship Youth Exchange Programme of the Department of Higher Education aimed at promoting national integration and strengthening emotional bonds among youth from different States and Union Territories.
About Yuva Sangam
It facilitates structured exposure visits between paired States and UTs to promote the spirit of “Unity in Diversity.”
Objectives
- Foster mutual understanding among youth.
- Strengthen national integration.
- Promote experiential learning.
- Encourage emotional bonding across regions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Group: 18–30 years
- Eligible participants include:
- Students from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
- NSS volunteers
- NYKS volunteers
- Young professionals

The programme is structured around five core themes:
1. Paryatan – Tourism
2. Parampara – Traditions and Culture
3. Pragati – Development and Governance
4. Paraspar Sampark – People-to-People Connect
5. Prodyogiki – Technology and Innovation

Phase V Highlights
- Over 46,000 registrations received nationwide.
- Since its launch (including the pilot phase in 2022), more than 6,000 youth and coordinators have participated in immersive exchange tours.
- Hosted by leading Higher Education Institutions across the country.
This reflects increasing enthusiasm for experiential learning and national integration initiatives.
Phase VI – Key Features
- 22 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) identified as nodal institutions across India. • Selected participants will undertake 5–7 day educational and cultural tours (excluding travel days) to their paired States/UTs.
