Andhra Pradesh gets First Strategic Investment Plan under PM-SETU

Andhra Pradesh has become the first state in India to secure approval for a Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) under the PM-SETU scheme.

The SIP for the Visakhapatnam ITI Cluster was submitted by Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India and approved by the National Steering Committee (NSC) during its 3rd meeting convened by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in New Delhi.

This marks the first-ever SIP approval under PM-SETU, making Andhra Pradesh the pioneer in operationalising industry partnership-led ITI reforms.
