Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the areas of advanced technologies, digital transformation, and capacity building.
The partnership is expected to promote innovation, accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, and contribute to building a robust and future-ready digital ecosystem in line with the Government of India’s vision of Digital India.
Key Areas of Collaboration
The partnership will focus on joint project implementation, consultancy, and technical support, along with development of solutions in emerging technologies — AI, Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, 5G, and Cloud Computing.
It will also enable development of turnkey solutions across sectors, facilitate technology transfer and commercialisation of innovative products, and strengthen capacity building, workforce upskilling, and skill development initiatives.

- BECIL is a Mini Ratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, established in 1995.
- It provides consultancy and turnkey solutions in broadcasting, IT, and telecommunications, and has expanded into e-governance, smart cities, healthcare, and manpower services.
About C-DAC
- C-DAC is an R&D organisation under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
- It works in advanced computing, high-performance computing, AI, cybersecurity, and software technologies, supporting national initiatives through technology development and capacity building.
