  • Provide a competitive platform for faculty across all 7 NIPERs to submit R&D proposals.

  • Bridging Gaps: Ensuring research efforts move beyond pilot stages and align with actual industry requirements.
  • Thematic Focus: Supporting research in key therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Immunology, Cardio-renal-metabolic disorders, Neurology, and Global Health(e.g., malaria and sickle cell disease).
  • Eligibility and Selection
  • Target Audience: The grant is exclusively open to faculty members affiliated with any of the seven NIPERsacross India.
  • Evaluation Process: Proposals undergo a rigorous evaluation by an independent jury based on scientific merit and innovation.
  • Recent Recipients: In the latest call for applications, which received 42 proposals, a faculty member from NIPER Mohaliwas selected as the recipient.
