The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), has launched the next phase of the nationwide ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’ campaign. The initiative aims to engage youth in promoting a drug-free India (Nasha Mukt Bharat) through creativity, culture, and community leadership, while contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
Objectives
- Promote awareness against drug abuse.
- Encourage youth-led social change through art, culture, storytelling, and digital creativity.
- Inspire young people to influence their communities and peers.
- Support the national missions of: Nasha Mukt Bharat and Viksit Bharat @2047

Competition Structure: The campaign will be conducted in a three-tier format:
- District Level
- State Level
- National Level
Timeline
- Registration: Through the MY Bharat Portal
- District-Level Competitions: 24–27 July 2026
- National Finale: 12–13 August 2026 during the National Youth Summit in New Delhi
Participation
- Age Group: 15–29 years
- Open to both: Individual participants and Group entries
- Entries accepted in:
- Hindi
- English
- Any regional language
Competition Categories
- District-level competitions will be organized in five creative categories: Music, Dance, Slam Poetry, Reel & Short Film, Nukkad Natak (Street Play)
Selection Process
- Participants upload creative entries through the MY Bharat Portal.
- Uploaded entries constitute the first stage of the competition.
- District winners advance to the State Level.
- State champions qualify for the National Finale.
