Union Education Minister launched Teacher App 2.0 – Powered by AI in New Delhi in collaboration with Bharti Airtel and CK-12 Foundation.

The upgraded platform integrates over 45 AI-enabled teaching tools into TheTeacherApp, which is already being used by more than 2 lakh educators across India. The initiative aims to expand access to advanced, classroom-aligned digital resources for teachers across the K-12 spectrum and the broader school education system.

Teacher App 2.0 has been redesigned as an AI-driven digital companion to support schoolteachers in their day-to-day classroom responsibilities.

The AI-enabled version embeds an assistive layer directly into teaching workflows, offering real-time, classroom-aligned support. It is structured to address everyday teaching challenges by:

  • Reducing lesson preparation time
  • Enriching instruction across subjects and grades
  • Supporting personalised teaching strategies
  • Enhancing classroom engagement
