What is PARIVARTAN Scheme?

PARIVARTAN (Programme for Accelerated Renewal and Incentivization of Vehicle Assets for Reducing Transport Air Pollution and Network Emissions) is a major vehicle fleet renewal initiative launched to replace old, high-emission commercial trucks and buses in the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) with cleaner Bharat Stage (BS)-VI compliant or electric vehicles (EVs). The Scheme was launched in July 2026. As of August 2026, 1,300+ beneficiaries have registered on the PARIVARTAN Portal.

OEM Discount: At least 8% discount on ex-showroom price from participating Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Fuel Voucher for BS-VI Diesel/CNG Vehicles: Monthly fuel vouchers ranging from ₹1,200 to ₹4,800 for 5 years, depending on vehicle category.
EV Incentive: One-time incentive ranging from ₹64,000 to ₹2.56 lakh for buyers of electric vehicles.
Beneficiary Registrations1,300+ beneficiaries had registered on the PARIVARTAN Portal as on 27 August 2026.
Financing Support42 banks and NBFCs have been onboarded to provide interest subvention on vehicle loans.
Industry ParticipationMoUs have been signed with 15 auto OEMs to provide the prescribed discount to eligible beneficiaries.
